Project Description

AmalfiAmalfi is a city in a striking natural environment under the steep cliffs on the south-west coast of Italy. Between the ninth and eleventh centuries, it was the seat of a powerful maritime republic. In the heart of the city, the “Cathedral of Sant’Andrea”, of the Arab-Norman era, is characterized by a striped Byzantine facade. The “Museo Arsenale di Amalfi” is a medieval construction site, now an exhibition space.
